THE WEEKLY MAC

In 2017 I challenged myself to bake 52 flavors of macarons, one batch per week, over the course of one year.

Having failed at previous macaron attempts (a notoriously finicky cookie), I found my rhythm after taking an intensive 3 day "baking enthusiast" course at the French Pastry School. I experimented my way through a range of different flavors (some good, some GREAT, a few I’d like to forget) and posted it all on Instagram @theweeklymac.

At the end of my 52 week challenge, I had such a high demand to sell my macs that I turned The Weekly Mac into a side business! While the business is currently on an extended hiatus, I’m thrilled for any opportunity to whip up a batch for friends and family.
